Ever wonder what happens to a race horse that has finished his career in racing?

Unfortunately most of the animals from this field are often put to death when they can no longer perform, or cannot make the grade as a race horse.  Frightening statistics prove that there are thousands of horses being put to death every year, due to the fact that they are no longer suitable to race.  Many ex-racehorses simply have no where to go once their careers in the racing industry have come to completion.

We are a non profit incorporation that is made up of a small group of caring people that endeavor to place Thoroughbred and Standardbred horses, (or those that have been originally bred to race) into new and happy homes. CEDAR SPRINGS HORSES Inc. uses natural technique and a kind hand to retrain and re-educate these animals, and give them the second chance at life that they deserve.
