Lucy - 4 Year Old Grey Thoroughbred Mare

This grey girl has a beautiful soft nature.  At approx 16hh, Lucy is very easy to ride and is not a spooky or difficult horse. Aims to please in whatever situation. Rides well with or without another horse and doesn't mind going out on her own. Brilliant movement and would suit someone looking to show or just hack around.  Great to c/s/f. Really loves human attention!! Way too slow for the racetrack!

Buddy - 3 Year Old Bay Standardbred Gelding - FOREVER HOME FOUND!-

At approx 14hh, our little Buddy was just too small and slow to ever make a racehorse! He has a beautiful and cuddly nature and just loves to be a 'pet'! Great to c/s/f and not a spooky horse. Dont let this guys age fool you as he has had lots of work done with him! Rides well by himself or with other horses and would suit almost any type of rider. Three good paces. Would make a great horse for the whole family.

Jessie - 7 Year Old Chestnut Standardbred Gelding - FOREVER HOME FOUND! -

Jessie is a very kind hearted horse who is excellent to ride. At approx 14.3 - 15hh, he is a great horse to take out and about. Rides well by himself or with another horse. Very pretty head. Good in traffic and to c/s/f. Has three good paces and would suit almost any type of rider. Loves his pats and treats!

Adoption Fees

Set adoption fees are normally set between $1200.00 - $1500.00.  Adoption fees directly assist us in helping ex-racehorses gain a second chance at life.

These fees normally include the following

• Natural re-education methods (for riding purposes)
• Full assessment period, (so that we can fully explain your potential equine friend.)
• Up to date dental work
• Up to date hoof care and trimming and/or shoes
• Up to date worming schedule

* Strangles/Tetanus vaccination is available for a nominal fee

* Any vet checks are welcome

As our program welcomes in many ex-racehorses throughout the year, we are unable to offer any extra items with your adopted equine friend, (such as rugs, halters or other tack and equipment).
